The visionary nature of Beethoven's music is equally applicable to his outlook on humanity and progress. He strove to convey a universal message of brotherhood which could unite mankind through music. This is the spirit which the Quatuor Ébène seeks to nourish and share throughout their grand concert tour, through a number of commitments which attest to the originality of this project. These commitments are an expression of ecological and social responsibility in the field.
A world tour means thousands of air miles. Ébène's objective: to reduce to a minimum the ecological impact of the tour by using carbon offset through tangible environmental action. We have set up an unprecedented partnership with Air France, who have confirmed their commitment to carbon offset.
Looking beyond the world's great concert platforms, these musicians seek to bring Beethoven's music to audiences who will hear it for the first time. A world tour is after all an opportunity for contact with different cultures. Ébène's objective: to generate interaction between classical music and audiences who are remote from it, in order to share their passion across cultural and geographical borders.
Financial contributions will be used to support the tour and to finance the recordings and the film.
We offer the following benefits in consideration of your support:
invitations to the concerts in VIP conditions for your guests
opportunities to share and exchange views with the artists at a reception after the concert
prominent acknowledgement of your commitment on all the publicity material, film credits and CD jewel cases
a private concert or a showing of the film with the artists present
By bringing together a circle of individual sponsors, Beethoven around the world is the chance for the Quatuor Ébène to create a community of music-lovers who wish to share their passion for chamber music.
